I drove an hour (due to traffic) here to order a cake for an event. We typically always order our cakes from here. I was greeted immediately and Crystal assisted me at the counter. She was extremely nice, friendly, patient and helpful. Which helped as I thought I wanted a full sheet but seeing how huge it was in person, opted for the half. Easy breezy process and even snagged a few treats to take home. Thank you! See you next week.

A SoCal staple, Kings Hawaiian is not only delicious but it also feels like home. I've been going here since I was a little kid, and it evokes the memories of weekends spent here with my family and especially my grandparents that brought the family together. There's plenty of seating of seating here but you will have to wait a while if you don't make a reservation. The bakery can get equally busy, so if you're eating in and want something to go from the bakery ask your server. The food here is delicious, and I can't remember a time where the service was bad. I love everything, but my favorite is the saimin oxtail soup, and any of the breakfast stuff.

This is my second time visiting Kings Hawaiian. It's a staple here in Torrance. Our server today Nick and he was very attentive and kind. Right away we were greeted with 4 Hawaiian rolls and butter. There's plenty of seating and no reservation needed. There's also online ordering and phone ordering. You are also able to just walk in and visit their bakery for fresh pastries, pies, and cakes. Previously I have been for breakfast and the French toast is TOO GOOD. Can't wait to visit again!

Updated review: I received a call back from Kings Hawaiian general manager apologizing for the way his bakery manager handled my situation. He reassured me that we are always welcomed at the restaurant and that the situation would be addressed with the staff involved. I really appreciate him taking the time to respond and making me feel comfortable returning back to this location by gifting me a gift certificate so my next purchase will be on the house.

The food was delicious and well-portioned (not too much food), and the service was quick and friendly. We really enjoyed the decor and overall feel of the restaurant - it was bright, comfortable, and airy. Loved the fried rice especially, so flavorful.

I loved this place! The food is delicia! It's not overly priced! And you get a ton for what you're paying for! They have a bakery right when you walk In, that's filled with tons of options ! The service is pretty okay, and the ambiance of the place itself was pretty cool, it reminds me of a diner I went too in Hawaii. The food is pretty authentic in a sense where they serve dishes that they would in Hawaii. Recommend!

Generous portions, upon sitting down, are delivered, such as a basket of hot rolls and butter, $5 Black Oak Zinfandel, and dishes that feel comforting and home style, in the range of $12-$22 per plate. I decided I wanted to be a regular the day I stepped foot in the restaurant side Great waitress, her name was Julie! Made us feel very welcomed even asked our names and made convo with us while doing so much work.
